(New York, NY, October 25, 2010) - On Friday, October 29th from 3:00 to 5:00pm, kids 12 and under and their families are invited to a fun, friendly, FREE Halloween celebration held in the hallways of WorkSpace, located at 5030 Broadway in Manhattans Inwood neighborhood.
WorkSpace, along with Manhattan Mini Storage, several building tenants, and other local businesses, is happy to host this safe (and spooky!) Halloween experience for the entire Inwood area as part of an ongoing effort by Edison Properties to be a good neighbor. We anticipate well over 125 kids trick or treating through our hallways and thrilling to scary storytelling, face painting, a costume contest, pumpkin painting and more!
In the past few years, Edison Properties, the parent company of Manhattan Mini Storage, WorkSpace & Edison ParkFast, has become an integral player in spurring growth of this underdeveloped neighborhood. We now provide 5 full floors of storage units, 92 office suites, a state of the art conference room and brand new cafeteria. These are essential components in our ability to host Community Board 12 meetings, neighborhood gatherings, partnerships with the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance, and members of the Washington Heights Chamber of Commerce. And were always looking for new ways to give back - our most recent venture was to turn our retail space into a neighborhood children's art exhibit.
